Kashmir Tulip Garden is a terrapened hillside garden in Srinagar, known for its spectacularly beautiful tulip display in the spring. This is the site of the annual Kashmir Tulip Festival, featuring cultural performances, local cuisine and handicrafts.
It's a perfect choice for couples, families, photographers and nature lovers! It's very cheap, very gorgeous and very suitable for other Srinagar attractions on the same day.

The garden is nestled at the foothills of Zabarwan Range, on the banks of Dal lake, in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
Best Time to Visit
Time of fruit maturity: Late May to early June
The Tulip Festival is in operation, the weather is mild (10°C – 20°C) and all tulips are in bloom at this time. The bloom period is short (few weeks), so timing is important.
Do not visit after mid-April most tulips start to wilt. The dates of blooms vary slightly from year to year and are dependent on the weather, please verify current conditions before booking.
This is best done in the early morning (9-11 AM) to avoid crowds and have better lighting for photos.

How to Reach
Air: Srinagar airport is the closest one being 22 km away. The journey to the garden is 45 to 60 minutes in a taxi.
Rail: Jammu Tawi is the closest railhead. By road from Jammu to Srinagar takes 8-10 hours.
By Road: Srinagar is on NH44, which leads to Jammu. It is a route that is regularly serviced by buses and shared taxis.
Local transport: They are readily available in Srinagar for taxi hire and auto-rickshaws. All local drivers are familiar with the garden.
